Robert C. Williamson
Welcome! For over two decades, I've practiced construction law helping my clients to find ways to peacefully and fairly resolve their disputes and advocating their cases before judges, jurors or arbiters when a fair peace could not be secured.
I started this blog to share information and exchange ideas with you about construction law issues and industry news. I'll strive to get the discussion going, but I need your comments. So please share them.
About me: I started the firm that bears my name. Before doing so, I was a principal at a construction law boutique and a general practice firm.
I frequently speak and write about construction law. Recent papers and presentations include documenting and winning construction damage claims, liability for toxic mold and other construction defects, construction insurance coverage, surety bond claims and construction liens.
Martindale-Hubbell rates me "AV," for having reached the height of professional excellence and recognition for the highest levels of skill and integrity.
I graduated in the top ten of my class from The University of Mississippi School of Law. I'm admitted to practice in Mississippi and in various federal courts around the country.
I'm a member of the ABA Forum on the Construction Industry and the Fidelity and Surety Law Committee of the ABA Tort, Trial and Insurance Practice Section. For my detailed vita and publications, please click Download file.
